Two men were injured by gunfire on Wednesday night in the province of Colón, Panama, requiring them to be transferred to the emergency room of the Social Security Fund for medical attention. The armed attack occurred in the Martin Luther King community, which belongs to the Cativá district. The injured were Joel Locarmo, 28 years old, who was shot in the chest, and Néstor Rodríguez, 45 years old, who was hit in the right side. Both were received in the emergency room of the Policlinic Dom Laurencia Jaén Ocaña, in the Sabanitas district. Apparently, both victims were outside a mini-super in this community when gunmen arrived and started shooting, injuring them both. An investigation remains open into this attack on the lives of these two individuals.
