A man died Saturday afternoon after suffering an electric shock in the city of Colón, in an incident recorded on 12th Street, Balboa Avenue, in the province of Colón. According to preliminary information, the individual had entered an underground chamber with the intention of cutting electrical cables to steal copper. During the attempt, he received a strong electric shock that caused his immediate death, generating an explosion that alarmed residents in the area.
