In Colón (Panama), a shooting incident resulted in one death and one injury. The event occurred on Sunday, December 29, 2025, at approximately 1:35 p.m. in the Cristóbal Este area, in the La Medalla Milagrosa community. Unknown individuals arrived and fired shots at two men who were inside a residence. As a result of the shooting, 48-year-old Urbano Núñez Tuñon was killed. The second victim, 49-year-old Daniel Rodríguez, was shot in the chest, abdomen, neck, and both arms. Following the attack, both victims were taken to the emergency room at Dr. Manuel Amador Guerrero Hospital, where Núñez Tuñon's death was confirmed at 1:48 p.m. A preliminary investigation suggests the attack was targeted, likely aimed at a person residing in the area.
