The company Aguaseo, S.A. reported on Friday afternoon that during the evening shift of collection at the Monte Esperanza Municipal Landfill in Colón, one of its operational teams in the final disposal detected the body of a newborn inside a bag. Therefore, in accordance with established protocols, the company's staff immediately notified the National Police and the Public Ministry. The PN quickly arrived at the scene, and together with agents from the Criminalistics Department, they initiated the corresponding investigations to clarify the facts. The company makes a call for respect and prudence as the official investigations advance. The fetus's body was recovered and sent to the judicial morgue to be part of the investigation process.
