The mayor's office of the Colón district announced the start of its festive season with the “Christmas Lighting” event, by organizing a show that seeks to fill the province with hope and Christmas spirit. Therefore, citizens are invited to attend to witness the joint lighting of the lights that will adorn the city, with the aim of uniting the community in a 'Colon Enchantment Christmas'. Currently, preparations are underway for the installation and decoration of Colón's parks, with the setup of the central tree and the placement of lights, marking the beginning of the magic in the city. The main lighting event will take place this Saturday, December 6th, at 4:00 p.m. at the Plaza del Cristo Redentor, located on the Paseo Marino. The event will feature an extensive program that includes live music, musical bands and orchestra performances, the official lighting of the tree and parks, a Christmas bazaar, a gastronomic area, and a fireworks show.
