A man was injured by a projectile from a firearm on Tuesday afternoon in the emergency room of Dr. Manuel Amador Guerrero Hospital, located in the district of Cristóbal Este, on the outskirts of the city of Colón. The victim, identified as Angel Delgado, 32, arrived from the 11 de octubre sector, first street, in Cativá. Witnesses recounted hearing several shots before observing the injured man, who was immediately transferred to receive medical attention. Doctors confirmed three gunshot wounds: one to the face, another to the chest, and one more to the back. Delgado was taken to the operating room for emergency surgery. According to preliminary information, the victim mentioned that he was going to do some work near the attack site. Authorities have initiated an investigation process to clarify this armed violence case in Colón.
