The body of a missing minor was found this Monday morning on a beach in Cacique, Costa Arriba de Colón, after more than two days of intense search operations by authorities and area residents. According to initial reports, the boy had been reported missing in Cacique during the early hours of Saturday while camping with family near the coast. He disappeared during the early morning hours. According to preliminary information, the minor suffered a crisis around 3:00 AM, at which time he ran from the campsite. Witnesses indicated that the boy headed towards the beach and allegedly threw himself into the sea, which triggered an immediate alert and the start of search operations. The body was taken to the judicial morgue, where the corresponding procedures will be carried out.
