A 27-year-old man has been placed under provisional detention for the crimes of aggravated intentional homicide and criminal association, after being linked to the deaths of two young people in the province of Colón.
This bloody incident, which left two victims, occurred on February 17, 2024, in the community of Nuevo México, in the Sabanitas district, on the outskirts of the city of Colón.
The case is being investigated by the Specialized Homicide and Femicide Section of the Colón and Guna Yala Regional Prosecutor's Office.
His capture was achieved on November 19, during a raid in Costa Abajo de Colón, where he was listed as one of the most wanted.
During the hearing, the Prosecutor's Office requested the legalization of the apprehension and the formulation of charges, requests that were admitted by the Guarantees Court.
The accused is alleged to have participated in the death of Zair Castillo, 18, and Jorge Flores, 20.
