Arrest of artist Apache Ness in Panama

Panamanian singer Apache Ness has been arrested and sent to prison after precautionary measures in a fraud and illegal asset trafficking case were revoked. His defense claims they were not timely informed of the court's decision.

The arrest took place in Colón during an event that the artist used to attend regularly. He was immediately taken by the authorities to the aforementioned penitentiary center. He added: 'Later they give me a resolution where they notify me of the conditions regarding these donations of cars and other assets.' There are several people provisionally detained in this case. According to him, a formal call had previously been made to the artist to respond or comply with the requirements, but the reaction of his defense was late or not materialized, which led the authorities to act immediately upon not receiving a response. The Public Crimes Section indicated in its investigations that the case was against people who requested donations of vehicles and office assets from various state entities, which were subsequently transferred or sold to third parties through document falsification, obtaining profit from these assets. The artist's defense has not yet commented. The urban music singer Ernesto Brown, artistically known as Apache Ness, was transferred to the La Joya Penitentiary Center after his precautionary measures were revoked. 'Why did they wait so long to deliver a resolution?' he questioned. Additionally, after the measures of signing, 'Apache Ness' stated in a press conference that he was never explained that he could not do anything with the donated cars. The information was confirmed by Selecta Mckoy to Crítica. These measures included periodic reporting twice a month, the prohibition of leaving the country, and the restriction of approaching the 'International Ministry Reason to Live' foundation.
