The National Police, in coordination with the Specialized Superior Prosecutor's Office for Crimes of Criminal Association (Pandillism), is carrying out Operation Golpe, aimed at dismantling a criminal structure operating in the districts of Sabanitas and Cativá in the province of Colón. During the police operation, 11 people have been apprehended, including their main leader, known by the alias 'Dindi', presumed leader of the self-proclaimed gang Killa NTB or 'The Killa New Town Boys'. According to investigations, this criminal organization is linked to multiple criminal acts, including homicide, personal injuries, drug-related crimes, deprivation of liberty, and illegal possession of firearms, representing a serious threat to public safety. The National Police and the Public Ministry reiterate their firm commitment to combating organized crime and gang structures, ensuring security, public order, and social peace throughout the national territory.
