A 29-year-old man is accused of stabbing another person in the community of 20 in the corregimiento of San Juan, an area of the Transístmica in Colón, which led to his arrest. The violent incident occurred on March 7 of this year, when it is presumed that this person attacked another citizen with a bladed weapon, inflicting several wounds on his body. This led to his apprehension the next day (March 8), and he was informed that he was wanted for the crime against life and personal integrity. He now faces the crime of attempted homicide, and will be provisionally detained. This case is followed by the Specialized Homicide and Femicide Section of the Regional Prosecutor's Office of Colón and Guna Yala. The case was addressed in a hearing before the Guarantees Court, where this precautionary measure (provisional detention) was applied. In the hearing, the legality of his apprehension and the formulation of charges against this man were also achieved.
Man in Panama Charged with Attempted Murder
