In the province of Colón, the National Police (PN) carried out various operational and preventive actions in search of persons wanted by justice, as well as weapons and drugs. In the first case, at a checkpoint located on 16th Street, Central Avenue in the city of Colón, PN agents managed to seize a firearm with its magazine. It was found inside a vehicle in which six men were traveling, who were placed at the disposal of the corresponding authorities. On the other hand, during a search operation carried out in the Cristóbal Este district, police officers seized another firearm with two magazines and ammunition.
