A complaint was filed this Tuesday with the Public Ministry by Josué Alarcón following the death by asphyxiation of his two American Bully dogs while he was being held by units of the National Police. The man stated that during the time he was in custody, he alerted the officers that his pets were inside the vehicle. According to his account, he asked them to check the car or to allow him to contact a relative to remove them, but he indicated that he did not receive authorization. Following the incident, Alarcón went with his legal team to file the action, seeking an investigation into what happened to the animals during that period. The case is now in the hands of the competent authorities.
