The Public Ministry has not yet set a date and time for the guarantees hearing, legalization of the apprehension, and arraignment for a 25-year-old citizen for the attempted femicide that occurred over the weekend in the district of David, Chiriquí province.
This citizen is hospitalized at the Rafael Hernández Regional Hospital complex after being rescued on Monday afternoon by units of the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) in the David River area, while an elderly person who is missing is being sought.
The individual implicated in this attempted femicide case was found by chance in the Las Lomas area, showing signs of dehydration, blows, and fractures in various parts of his body.
It is expected that in the coming days he will undergo the necessary medical evaluation so that he can be brought before the corresponding authorities to face justice for the crime committed against his mother.
Over the weekend, this man attacked his mother and set the house on fire with her inside.
