The Costa Rican cyclist Pablo Mudarra solidified his lead in the XLV edition of the Vuelta Ciclista Internacional a Chiriquí, 'Copa Telca', by winning the fourth stage, which covered 144.6 kilometers. Mudarra, from the Colono Bikestation Kolbi team, secured his second victory in this edition, accumulating a time of 10 hours, 22 minutes, and 16 seconds in the general individual classification. In Monday's race, which took a route from David to Paso Canoas, Finca Blanco, and Solano, Mudarra posted a time of 3 hours, 25 minutes, and 11 seconds. Cuban Ricardo Delgado finished second in the stage, while Joseph Ramírez (Colono Bikestation Kolbi) was third. In the general classification, after four days of racing, Mudarra is followed by his teammate Joseph Ramírez and the Belizean Derrick Chavarría (Tag Cycling Team), both 15 seconds behind. The best national rider in the general individual classification remains Bolívar Espinosa of Senafront Rali, who is in 8th place, 53 seconds behind. In the Junior category, Emanuel Viane of Rali Far Express is in the lead, while in the Master category, Fernando Ureña of Fundación Caminos de Omar maintains his position. Today, Tuesday, the fifth stage will be held, featuring mountain stages again. The route will be 101.1 kilometers from David, entrance to San Andrés, Solano, and Volcán.
