The Costa Rican cyclist Pablo Mudarra consolidated his lead in the XLV edition of the International Cycling Tour of Chiriquí, Copa Telca, by winning the fourth stage on Monday, which covered 144.6 kilometers. Mudarra negotiated the route between David-Paso Canoas-Finca Blanco and Solano in 3 hours, 25 minutes, and 11 seconds. Cuban Ricardo Delgado crossed the line in second place, while Joseph Ramírez (Colono Bikestation Kolbi) was third. In the general classification, Mudarra holds the lead, and after four days of racing, he is followed by his teammate Joseph Ramírez and Belizean Derrick Chavarría (Tag Cycling Team), both 15 seconds behind. Mudarra, from Colono Bikestation Kolbi, secured his second win in this edition, accumulating a general time of 10 hours, 22 minutes, and 16 seconds. The best national rider in the general classification remains Bolívar Espinosa, from SENAFRONT RALI, who is in 8th place, 53 seconds behind. In the Junior category, Emanuel Vianes (Rali Far Express) is in the lead, while in the Master category, Fernando Ureña of Fundación Caminos de Omar maintains his position. On Tuesday, the fifth stage will be held, with the mountain stages returning. The route will be 101.1 kilometers from David - entrance to San Andrés – Solano and the volcano.
