Public Works Ministry rehabilitates El Paical Avenue with 12 tons of asphalt

Road maintenance work is being carried out on El Paical Avenue to improve mobility. Through the Metropolitan Directorate of Roadways, 12 tons of asphalt were applied to improve the road surface on this strategic point in the Betania district. The director of the MOP of Panama Center, Manuel Tejada, explained in the third person that these tasks are integrated into the regular maintenance programming designed for areas of constant use and high vehicular flow. With the completion of these works, the institution reaffirms its commitment to maintaining the urban road network in optimal conditions. This intervention is part of the road maintenance plan that seeks to optimize urban mobility and reinforce the safety of drivers and pedestrians who use this important artery of the capital daily. Work crews concentrated specifically on the section of El Paical Avenue, located near the intersection with the Transistmic Road. The maintenance consisted of the application of asphaltic carpeting in the most deteriorated points of the roadway. With these actions, it is intended to significantly improve the rolling conditions, which in turn contributes to reducing the mechanical wear of vehicles and ensures a more efficient displacement.
