The trade fairs organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Agriculture of Panama once again brought together companies and international buyers in the capital for one of the region's main business meetings. The fair platform, consisting of EXPOCOMER, EXPO LOGÍSTICA PANAMÁ, EXPO TURISMO INTERNACIONAL, EXPO TECH, and EXPO ELÉCTRICA INTERNACIONAL, concluded its 2026 edition with preliminary transactions of $165.8 million and over 19,000 business contacts generated during the three-day exhibition. The five fairs were held at the Panama Convention Center, where over 822 exhibition booths were set up across 16,000 square meters. Companies and delegations from 36 countries participated in the various business roundtables and commercial meetings organized during the event. According to the organizers, sectors such as food and beverage and technology stood out for their dynamism within the exhibition, reflecting trends in international trade and Panama's role as a meeting point for business in the region. The International Business Roundtable of EXPOCOMER and EXPO LOGÍSTICA brought together more than 110 companies with delegations from countries in the Americas, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the United States, Mexico, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. Among the novelties of this edition was the digitalization of event registration and access, which allowed for faster visitor entry and eliminated the printing of over 10,000 badges. The fair block was also the stage for forums and business meetings dedicated to topics such as innovation in health, female business leadership, and public-private partnerships. The Chamber of Commerce announced that the next edition of these exhibitions will be held from April 6 to 8, 2027.
