Tocumen International Airport has published the tender for the third time to hire life and health insurance policies for its employees and the regional airports under its administration.
During the public act, after two unsuccessful calls, the previous meeting was omitted, and the opening of economic proposals was moved to Monday, April 20. However, the verification committee determined that the company did not meet all the mandatory minimum requirements, so on March 19, the airport's management decided to declare the act void again.
In this public act, two insurance companies participated: Mapfre, which offered $6.4 million, and Assa, with an offer of $7.9 million. The insurance would cover death from any cause, accidental death and dismemberment, total or permanent disability, advance for funeral expenses, triple compensation for death in specific accidents, advance of capital for terminal illness, and in the case of cancer, there was an additional sum of $10,000.
