Students Visit Justo Arosemena Substation

Students from the Metropolitan University of Educational Sciences and Innovation (UMECIT) visited the Justo Arosemena substation of Naturgy in Panama. This energy distribution center is crucial for ensuring reliable service in key sectors such as San Francisco, Avenida Balboa, Marañón, and Casco Viejo.

During the visit, the students were able to learn first-hand about the operation of the substation and its importance for energy supply in the city. They were guided by experts who explained in detail how the electrical system operates and the safety measures that need to be taken in such facilities.

One of the highlights of the visit was the opportunity for the students to learn about the technologies used in the substation and how they contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability. Additionally, they were able to learn about Naturgy's expansion and modernization plans to ensure a continuous and safe energy supply in the region.

At the end of the visit, the students expressed their gratitude for the educational experience and the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in class to real situations. This initiative of bringing together academia and the energy sector demonstrates the importance of practical training for future professionals in the field.
