Residente, a winner of over 31 Latin Grammy awards and recognized by Billboard as number one on its list of "The 50 Greatest Latin Rappers of All Time," is coming to Panama for the Panama Crossroads festival. This will be its fourth edition, taking place from January 29-31, 2026, in Amador, Panama City.
The artist's real name is René Pérez Joglar. He has been a fundamental voice in the defense of social causes, Latin American public education, and the rights of indigenous peoples, having collaborated with organizations like UNICEF and Amnesty International.
In addition to this famous artist, the legendary Cuban band Orishas will also perform. They revolutionized Latin hip hop worldwide from the late 90s. With over 750,000 copies sold in Europe and multiple Latin Grammy nominations, Yotuel Romero and Roldán González Rivero represent the perfect fusion of hip hop and traditional Cuban music, making the group the ultimate ambassadors of Caribbean culture globally.
Representing our country will be Señor Loop, the most legendary and important band on the isthmus. Their influence has been fundamental in the development of the national music scene, and they embody the Panamanian spirit at the festival.
Other artists performing include The Ritual with Anane & Louie Vega, AWEN, Entre Nos, KEENE, Mano Le Tough, Greta Spark, Némula, Rui Vargas, Sally C, VINCE, DJ Norma, and The Checkup.
The local electronic scene will be represented by Aldrey, Alicefulloflove, Andrés Pérez, Buen Afro, Claudia Quero, Cutarro, Dal Florida, Disalazar, Grets, M3B, DJ Necar, Ferxo Díaz, Gerard R, Jo.el, Jota Ortiz, Kamarita, Kitana, Leo Pérez, Lil Lina, Luca Ruiz, Mei, Melieé, Nicholls, Ruki Álvarez, Ritmo Equis, Shmina, Vinoss, Wally Stryk, Zian, and others to be confirmed.
The festival's director, Lloyd Keene, confirmed that more artists will be added in the coming weeks, and the lineup will exceed 60 national and international acts. Followers of the festival should stay tuned to official channels for new additions.
Details about the educational program will be announced soon. In previous editions, it has featured over 40 international and national speakers offering workshops, master classes, and talks, completely free and open to the public.
