Panama - One person was killed and three others were injured in a serious traffic accident that occurred last night on the highway towards the Bridge of the Americas, specifically on the Roberto F. Chiari road at the entrance to Panama Pacifico. The incident involved a black vehicle whose driver, for unknown reasons, apparently lost control of the steering wheel and crashed into one of the concrete containment barriers (jersey) located on the side of the road. The impact was so violent that the vehicle rolled over several times and ended up on the side of the road with its top and front completely crushed, to the point that part of the engine was torn off. This violent sequence caused the driver to be ejected from the vehicle and die at the scene, while the other three occupants were injured.
