Panama City Opens Free 'City of Stars' Christmas Village

The Municipality of Panama officially opens today the Christmas Village 'City of Stars', a space designed for families from all neighborhoods to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere without spending a cent. The event will start at 4:00 p.m. in the area of the Pacific Viewpoint on the Coastal Strip, where hundreds of people will arrive to witness the beginning of the festive season. The venue will feature live shows, Christmas carols, and the main attraction: a free skating rink, open to all ages from 5 years old. The regular schedule will be from Thursday to Sunday, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. To participate, people must register and get their ticket through the official platform pasarela.mupa.gob.pa. The authorities reminded that access is completely free, but it is mandatory to wear socks to use the rink without any issues. As part of the order and security of the space, the rules of the skating rink were announced, among them: – Follow the staff's instructions and use only the authorized equipment. – Wear socks and keep the skates well fastened. – Do not enter with food, drinks, pets, or dangerous objects. – Do not perform risky maneuvers or behaviors that put others at risk. – Avoid running, pushing, or playing roughly inside and around the rink. – People with medical risk conditions will not be allowed to enter. The Municipality staff warned that the non-compliance with these rules may limit access or stay within the rink. The Christmas Village will continue to receive visitors throughout the Christmas season, offering a safe, lit space designed for the community to enjoy a December full of magic and togetherness.
