December 8, 2025 — Panama City — A fatal collision and rollover occurred on the Arraiján-La Chorrera highway early Monday morning, resulting in one death. Preliminary information indicates that the vehicle carrying the victim was involved in a collision with another vehicle near the Costa Verde boulevard, heading towards the capital. After the crash, the car overturned multiple times, causing the victim's death at the scene. Fire department units assisted in extricating the drivers from the vehicles, as one was trapped inside and the other ended up in a ditch at the roadside. Both drivers were transported to the Nicolás A. Solano Hospital in critical condition. A tow truck was required to remove the vehicles from the scene to clear the roadway.
