Over a thousand children in Santa Ana receive Christmas gifts

Over a thousand children from the Santa Ana district experienced an afternoon full of joy, games, and gifts during the “Happy Christmas for All” event, held in the historic park of this populous sector of the capital city. From the early hours of the afternoon, dozens of children of all ages arrived with their families to enjoy a true Christmas party, organized by the Santa Ana Community Board, where mechanical rides, inflatables, artistic performances, and many surprises were not to be missed. The district's representative, Kira Ponce, explained that the entire event was designed for the children to have fun completely free of charge, with bouncy castles, face painting, children's shows, and a variety of treats like ice cream, cotton candy, and popcorn. One of the most anticipated moments was the gift-giving, which included bicycles, soccer balls, skateboards, board games, stuffed animals, toy cars, and dolls.Children were able to interact with the characters and take photos with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and the famous Grinch.“The most important thing was to bring a little joy to the children of Santa Ana on the eve of Christmas, a district where many low-income families cannot afford to buy toys or take their children to entertainment venues during this time,” noted the representative.“The most important thing is that all the children who attended left with a gift, regardless of their age,” Ponce highlighted. The event, which was conducted in complete order, also featured the entertaining show of the Claus family versus the Grinch, which drew laughter and applause.Ponce announced that work is already underway to repeat the event next year, starting now to seek the support of sponsors and friends of the district, with the goal of making this Christmas party even better.
