The Ministry of Culture announces the year-end cultural program. The lineup for the last week of December features Christmas parades, art exhibitions, and symphony concerts for the general public.

The Ministry of Culture has presented the official cultural program that will be in effect from December 19 to 26, 2025, integrating a wide range of artistic expressions and festive celebrations at various points across the country. This program, driven by the National Government, aims to foster public participation in public spaces and cultural centers through free and accessible events.

Morning Highlights Starting December 19, the schedule includes theatrical productions such as 'Snow White Saves Christmas' at El Telon theater and 'The Grinch' at the Colón Art and Culture Center. In Panama City, the MiCultura headquarters at PH Tula will host the 'The Art of Directing' workshop, while the collective exhibition 'Senses' opens at the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery in the Casco Antiguo. The morning program also features the ballet 'The Nutcracker' at the National Theater and short plays at the City of the Arts. Meanwhile, the Panama Youth Orchestras and Choirs Network will kick off a series of gala concerts at the cathedrals of Santiago and Aguadulce, extending until December 21.

Weekend Events and Commemorations For December 20 and 21, the cultural agenda diversifies with Christmas markets and bazaars at venues like the Omar Park Dome and Building 4 on José Martí Street. Notable events include Christmas parades in Antón, Don Bosco, Arraiján, and 'Nueva Ciudad' in Vacamonte, as well as the lights festival in Urracá Park. On the historical front, the Canal Museum organizes open house days and guided tours to mark the 36th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Panama. Additionally, the photographic exhibition 'Forbidden to Forget: Panama Invasion' will be presented in San Francisco.

Program Closing and Special Events On December 23 and 25, the Colón Art and Culture Center will maintain a constant offering of Christmas films and festivals celebrating the birth of Jesus. The National Symphony Orchestra will perform a grand Christmas concert at the National Theater on December 21. Finally, on December 26, the cultural agenda includes storytelling for children at the Lucas Bárcenas Public Library in Arraiján and exercise sessions at the Omar Torrijos Herrera Public Library in San Miguelito. The exhibitions 'Little Masters, Great Works' and 'Brushstrokes of Light' at the Veraguas Regional Museum will remain open for visitors' enjoyment.
