Everything is ready for the Festival of Lights 'Jesus is Christmas', which will take place this Sunday, December 21, in Urracá Park. The festival, starting at 4:00 PM, aims to light up the hearts of Panamanians with the light of love, joy, and happiness as they welcome Jesus. For this symbolic gesture, you can bring your cell phone to illuminate the park, signifying that the light is over Panama to guide them to better days. According to the Municipality of Panama, the event is open to all families and will feature choreographies, theater plays, musical capsules, Christmas choirs, orchestras, and artists such as El Rebaño, Luis Antonio, Emanuel Deliser, MC Méndez, and others, who will tell the story of how the light of Jesus came into this world. The highlight of the event will be when, in a collective prayer for Panama, everyone will light up their cell phones and raise them as a sign that the spiritual light of Jesus may illuminate Panamanian homes, filling them with peace, love, and unity. The event is organized by the Municipality of Panama together with Christian churches, which have prepared everything for the Panamanian people to have a different and unique experience.
