Panama, December 25, 2025. An intense police chase took place yesterday afternoon and ended with several apprehensions, including a minor. Preliminary information about this incident indicates that two individuals on a motorcycle attempted to escape while carrying a firearm. The chase began in Curundú and ended in El Chorrillo. According to preliminary reports, the suspects may be linked to a violent incident in which one person died and another was injured. The chase extended through several streets until the occupants were intercepted and handed over to the competent authorities for the corresponding investigations. The National Police reiterated that it will not lower its guard against armed groups, especially when they put the lives of innocent citizens at risk.
