Two fires reported this Friday in different areas of Panama City were successfully controlled by the Fire Department without any reported victims. According to reports, personnel from the Carrasquilla station responded to a fire in a two-story residence located in the Vista Hermosa neighborhood. Firefighters found two rental rooms in an apartment building fully engulfed in flames, while a third room suffered only smoke damage. The situation was brought under control before the flames could spread to the entire building or adjacent structures. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident. Investigations into the causes of the fire are just beginning. In a separate incident, units from the #1 station of the Panama East-DariƩn Regional Zone responded to a fire in a house in the La Higuera sector, Chepo. "The area was secured and the incident controlled without spreading". The Panama Fire Department recommends constant supervision while cooking, checking the condition of gas cylinders and hoses, keeping the kitchen ventilated, and calling "103" for any sign of a fire.
