This Saturday, January 17, the Don Bosco district will inaugurate a new community attraction: the permanent thematic lighting of Villa Catalina Park, starting at 7:00 p.m. The initiative is driven by the Panama City Hall, in conjunction with the Don Bosco Community Board. Villa Catalina Park is one of five capital parks selected to maintain a year-round 2026 lighting system inspired by thematic and educational axes. In this case, the lighting recreates the marine world, offering an innovative visual environment that combines recreation, learning, and family enjoyment. The official switch-on will take place in the park located at the entrance to the Villa Licia sector, with a special event for the entire community, announced the representative of the Don Bosco district, Pier Janson. "On this special occasion, we will present the fun play 'Los Chirrykekes,' as well as attractions and games for the little ones, and a space dedicated to the entrepreneurs of the district. We invite families to visit the park, enjoy the color, joy, and magic of this show," Janson highlighted.
