The well-known artist Amara La Negra has confirmed her arrival in Panama, where she will celebrate the carnival in style. She was officially announced as the International Host of the Carnival Festival, an event organized by the Municipality of Panama for the capital's festivities. She will be present during the festival, which will take place from February 13 to 17, 2026. The event will be held on the Coastal Strip, where the Carnival Festival Volumen Caribe will take place, featuring four stages and over 100 artists. "I fell in love with PANAMA, so I'll see you soon at the Carnivals!" the famous artist said. Her connection to the country is strong, as her mother lived here for 10 years, and recently Amara has been very present at local events, such as the Premios Juventud awards.
