A young woman, approximately 20 years old, was struck and killed by a vehicle on the Panama-Colón highway on Tuesday, in the area of the 20 community. Apparently, the young woman was walking on the shoulder of the road when the driver of a gray sedan vehicle swerved onto the roadway and hit her. The front of the car was damaged in the impact. It was learned that the young woman was a university student and was heading to her educational center at the time of the accident. At the scene, the young woman was assisted and transported to the emergency room of a health center, but she arrived without vital signs. An investigation has been launched into this fatal hit-and-run that resulted in the death of the young woman.
