Structural engineers from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will arrive in the country this Thursday to participate in the inspection of the Bridge of the Americas, following the incident that occurred last Monday. The technical mission, which is being carried out on a voluntary basis, will consist of two structural engineers and two support specialists. The inspection will take place between Friday and Saturday, as part of a cooperation program between Panama and the United States. This effort aims to add technical expertise and specialized tools to the structural review process. Panama will receive international support to reinforce the safety of one of its main transportation routes.
