This Sunday, April 12, users of the Panama Metro will notice an unusual change: the Albrook station will open at 10:00 a.m. This is due to the third phase of the lifting of the new roof. These metal pieces, which are assembled at height, are designed to cover wide areas without the need for multiple columns, which will allow for greater passenger flow in the future. Work on lifting the new roof at Albrook station continues as part of the integration project with Line 3. During the work, the pedestrian walkway connecting to the Transport Terminal will also remain closed. Meanwhile, the rest of Line 1 will operate normally from 7:00 a.m., in both directions between the 5 de Mayo and Villa Zaita stations.
