During the event, 200 people received direct benefit through free skin and mole exams, as well as free mammograms, thanks to the collaboration of the First Lady's Office.

Commitment to prevention and timely diagnosis From the early hours of the morning, a team of specialist doctors provided care to men and women interested in assessing their general health status. On this occasion, the impact of the campaign extended to women's health with the performance of 26 free mammograms, focused on combating one of the pathologies with the highest incidence in Panama. The executive director of the foundation, Patricia Méndez Chiari, stated in the third person that each campaign represents a crucial opportunity to save lives, highlighting that timely detection is the determining factor between effective treatment and a late diagnosis.

In parallel, an informational fair was developed with the participation of allied laboratories that shared data on personal care products. For her part, Dr. Shariel Saldaña, a dermatology specialist and member of the Panamanian Association of Dermatology, explained that skin cancer is one of the most common, but at the same time one of the most treatable if identified early. This initiative reaffirms the institutional mission to promote early diagnosis in the country. Méndez Chiari celebrated the positive response from the citizenship and the strengthening of the prevention culture.

Specialized evaluations and medical recommendations Throughout the event, dermatologists performed exhaustive clinical evaluations to detect warning signs and guide patients upon the finding of suspicious lesions. The specialist urged the population to remain alert to changes in moles, wounds that do not present healing or alterations in existing moles. The campaign concluded with the support of volunteers and strategic allies from the health sector, making a general call to adopt self-care habits and to actively participate in these screening programs fundamental for survival.
