Panama launches a free shuttle for patients and their families at the City of Health, running between hospital buildings from 4:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Free Transport for Retirees and Insured at City of Health

Patients, retirees, and insured individuals visiting the City of Health (in the western part of Panama City) now have a solution that saves them time, money, and effort: a completely free internal transport service connecting the main areas of the hospital complex.

This service has become key support for patients and their families, especially in times when time and mobility make a difference in medical care.

The journey takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes, but the best part is that the buses run continuously. Two buses operate on complementary schedules, making continuous trips and picking up passengers at the Metrobus stops located outside the City of Health complex.

This system operates from Monday to Friday, from 4:30 am to 6:30 pm, covering the route between the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Institute and the High Complexity Pediatric Hospital, two of the busiest points.

Additionally, the units are equipped with ramps for people with disabilities, guaranteeing access for everyone without exception. During the tour, the drivers announce each stop, allowing users to easily orient themselves, especially those visiting the complex for the first time.
