A patient requiring dialysis became a victim of theft at a social security hospital. This is Luciano González Rodríguez, a resident of Chepo, who travels one hour and 20 minutes from Loma del Río to the city daily for his treatment. He left his car on the first floor and went up for his dialysis session. When he came down around 9:00 p.m., the car was simply no longer there. González immediately reported the incident to the security, but their response was that they could do nothing and that the security cameras were damaged. After that, he went to the police, who filed the report and directed him to file a complaint at the Bella Vista Prosecutor's Office, where he has already reported the case. This car was his only means of transportation for his treatments, and its loss puts his health at risk. So far, there are no arrests and no trace of the vehicle. The stolen vehicle is a 2004 Toyota Pick Up Hi Lux, gray-silver in color, with license plate 304741. He is asking for community support to locate it and has shared the numbers 6337-3402, 6875-4524, and 6264-0403 for any information. The victim also criticized the lack of security in the country and within the CSS itself, stating that this is not the first time he has suffered a similar incident at that location.
