Protest Against Moroccan Government in Panama City

The Coordinator of Popular Organizations of Panama Oeste has scheduled a protest day for Thursday, February 27. The event will take place in front of the Moroccan Embassy in Panama City, between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. The reason for the protest is to denounce the numerous abuses committed by the Moroccan government.

The solidarity movement APASOCASA is leading this initiative in defense of the right to self-determination of the Sahrawi people. In the words of a representative of the Coordinator of Popular Organizations of Panama Oeste: "It is imperative to put an end to the human rights violations suffered by our Sahrawi brothers. We are committed to raising our voice against the oppression and injustice taking place in Western Sahara."

This day of protest aims to draw attention to the situation facing the Sahrawi people, as well as to demand respect for their fundamental rights. It is expected that the mobilization will gather broad participation from different sectors of Panamanian society, in solidarity with the Sahrawi cause.
