The National Police, in collaboration with the Public Ministry, carried out Operation Sacramento, resulting in the apprehension of three U.S. citizens and the seizure of a total of 217 packages of suspected illicit substances. The operation followed raids and searches conducted at Tocumen International Airport and various points throughout the metropolitan area.
Among the evidence, the operation led to the seizure of 78 packages of suspected drugs from the warehouse of a logistics company at Tocumen International Airport, an additional 39 packages from an apartment located in the San Francisco district, and five mobile phones along with B/.2, 010.00 in cash.
Furthermore, 100 packages of suspected drugs were found in a warehouse located on Vía España.
This operation reaffirms the ongoing struggle led by the National Police against organized crime and the illicit trafficking of substances, ensuring the capture of the alleged individuals responsible for these criminal activities within the country.
