During a raid and search at a residence in the Río Abajo district, police units in coordination with the Superior Anti-Gang Prosecutor's apprehended Edwin Enrique Quintana, alias 'Chamberre', who was wanted for crimes against public safety in the form of gang activity. This individual was on the list of most wanted persons, with a reward of $5,000 offered for information leading to his whereabouts. Authorities are still searching for another 25 people wanted for crimes such as organized crime, homicide, and gang activity. Investigations have linked him as the alleged leader of the P*tos Ganster gang, which was dismantled during Operation Muralla carried out in June 2025 in Curundú. This is the eighth apprehended person from the list of wanted individuals with rewards.
