A man was killed in Panama last night. Raúl Alonso Guerra Sánchez, 41, was murdered while traveling in a gray vehicle in sector #3 of Las Paredes, corregimiento 24 de Diciembre. Preliminary data indicates that shortly before 10:00 p.m., the vehicle he was in was intercepted by a black sedan, from which its occupants shot him as he passed by the La Inmaculada church. The shots hit the man in the chest and back, so he was urgently taken in the same vehicle to the Irma de Lourdes Tzanetatos Hospital. Unfortunately, he showed no vital signs upon arrival. The motive for the crime and the identity of the hitmen are currently unknown. The Homicide and Femicide Prosecutor's Office of the metropolitan region is already investigating the case.
