As part of the investigations and operational actions regarding the double homicide that occurred in the Caimitillo area, where two people died, including a National Police captain, the arrest of a fourth alleged perpetrator in this case, recorded on December 12, 2025, has been carried out. The investigation led to the identification of this suspect, who was the subject of raids on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 16, in Panama North and San Miguelito; however, he was not found at the locations searched. In the evening, the 23-year-old man turned himself in at the Homicide and Femicide Prosecutor's Office in the corregimiento of Ancón, where he was notified of the warrant for his arrest and apprehended. He will be brought before a Guarantees Judge within the next 24 hours.
