Panama's state radio and television system (SERTV) and Mexico's Latin American Institute for Educational Communication (ILCE) have formalized an agreement for strategic collaboration. The agreement aims to exchange radio and television content that aligns with the legal nature and areas of interest of both entities, focusing on education, culture, and social development. Dustin Guerra, director general of SERTV, stated that this international project allows Panama to showcase its communication capabilities globally, representing a fundamental step in the expansion strategy of the state media. The partnership with ILCE will provide Panamanian content with an additional platform in Mexico, while the Panamanian audience will receive high-quality materials from the international organization, thus strengthening communication cooperation ties on the continent. This international vision is reinforced by the entity's participation in the Tal network, where Panama holds a position on the board of directors. From his position in the regional body, the director of SERTV explained that the institution is responsible for unifying criteria for Central America and the Caribbean regarding joint productions. This agreement seeks to directly benefit the populations of both countries by distributing materials that promote high-impact educational and cultural values.
