Panama's National Assembly begins accepting applications for Deputy Comptroller General

The National Assembly of Panama has opened applications for the position of Deputy Comptroller General. The deadline for submission is January 20. Candidates must submit a full set of documents to the General Secretariat of the Assembly.

The National Assembly announced that it is now accepting applications for the position of Deputy Comptroller General of the Republic. The application period runs from Thursday, January 15, to Tuesday, January 20, 2026, based on Resolution No. 28 of January 12, 2026, approved by the Plenary of the National Assembly. Within four (4) business days following Wednesday, January 14, 2026, interested parties must appear at the General Secretariat of the National Assembly, located in the Justo Arosemena Palace, Cinco de Mayo Square, Panama City, to submit the necessary documents proving they meet the requirements for the position, as established in Article 279 of the Political Constitution. Applicants must present the following documents: curriculum vitae; original birth certificate; certificate of personal background information; authenticated copy of the university degree.
