Solidarity Act with Cuba in Panama

Panamanian solidarity movements are organizing a protest against the US blockade of Cuba. The event will be held in front of the José Martí bust and aims to support the sovereignty of the Cuban people.

An act of solidarity with Cuba, in response to the military threats from US President Donald Trump, will be held on Friday, January 23, at 4:30 p.m., in front of the bust of Cuban independence apostle José Martí, located on the University of Panama campus. The event, called for in a spirit of unity by Panamanian solidarity movements, will serve to reject the blockade imposed by the United States on the island. Likewise, it will contribute to the exercise of the sovereignty and self-determination of the Cuban people in defining their own destiny.
