The National Borders Service's Directorate of Intelligence and Antinarcotics, in coordination with Panama's Drug Prosecutor's Office, conducted an operation in the 'El Llano de Chepo' area. A 20-year-old citizen was apprehended, who was allegedly in possession of illicit substances, .38 caliber ammunition, and a digital scale. The operation followed a raid in the area. The individual was handed over to the competent authorities. In another case, in the Achutupu community, San Blas, the National Borders Service executed a capture warrant for the aggravated possession of a drug weapon, issued by the Compliance Court, against a 40-year-old citizen. He was transferred to the Citizen Attention Hall for the necessary procedures.

Panama's National Borders Service detained a young man in the El Llano de Chepo area on charges of drug and weapons possession. Another man was also arrested in the Achutupu community.
