Two Panamanian Citizens Arrested for Drug and Weapon Possession

Two arrests were made in Panama during anti-drug operations. In one case, a 20-year-old man was detained with illicit substances and ammunition. In another, a 40-year-old man was arrested for illegally possessing a drug-related weapon. Both suspects have been handed over to the authorities.


Two Panamanian Citizens Arrested for Drug and Weapon Possession

Following a raid, the Directorate of Intelligence and Antinarcotics of the National Border Service, in coordination with Panama's Drug Prosecutor's Office, led to the arrest of a 20-year-old citizen in the 'El Llano de Chepo' area. He was found in possession of alleged illicit substances, .38 caliber ammunition, and a digital scale. The citizen was handed over to the competent authorities. Similarly, in the Achutupu community, San Blas, the National Border Service carried out an arrest warrant for the crime of Aggravated Possession of a Drug-Related Weapon, issued by the Enforcement Court, against a 40-year-old citizen. He was transferred to the Citizen Attention Hall for the necessary procedures.
