On Sunday, January 25, 2026, a series of anti-drug operations were conducted in Panama. In the Condado del Rey (Ancon) area, two Panamanian citizens, aged 46, were detained for transporting 35 drug packages in a taxi and a red sedan. Meanwhile, in Río Abajo, during a search and seizure of a vehicle belonging to a 43-year-old Colombian citizen, officers detected a structural alteration; specifically, a double bottom, which, although empty, constitutes a crime. After concluding the procedures in both cases, the two Panamanians and the foreigner were placed at the disposal of the Metropolitan Region's Drug Prosecutor's Office for the judicial processing of the cases.
