The Minister of Government, Dinoska Montalvo, appeared before the Government, Justice, and Constitutional Affairs Commission of the National Assembly. During her appearance, she presented a detailed report on the progress, challenges, and projections of the community justice system in Panama, taking the opportunity to clarify information circulating on digital platforms. Montalvo explained that following the reform of the Community Justice Law, she has undertaken a national tour, reaching the 487 justices of the peace who were operational. Future plans include the execution of specialized training for the justices and the provision of necessary resources and tools in the courts, with the aim of guaranteeing an effective response to the needs of the citizenry and improving inter-institutional coordination. The Ministry of Government highlighted that it will continue to reinforce this justice model.
