A return to those who truly need it.
This measure is for those who really need it.
«The evidence speaks for itself».
With this move, the Transit and Land Transport Authority (ATTT) seeks to bring order to streets tired of chaos.
The citizen must download the «Panamá Connecta» app, create their user, enter «Direct Attention», select «ATTT – Infractions» and upload up to four photos or videos, taken at the moment.
A direct hit to the wallet to stop the recklessness that daily puts pedestrians, people with disabilities, and responsible drivers at risk.
In the case of fines for the improper use of parking spaces for people with disabilities, the punishment is not only economic.
Everything is done through the «Panamá Conecta» platform, where the citizen can report traffic infractions at the same moment they occur.
If a driver goes onto the shoulder of the road, drives on the sidewalk, stops in the yellow line, or shamelessly uses a parking space for people with disabilities, anyone can report it with evidence.
Clear photos, visible license plate, and that's it.
ATTT receives the case and acts.
According to the ATTT, the sanction is B/. 300, and if the driver re-offends, the fine is doubled.
The «smart guy» on the streets is not as comfortable anymore.
Fewer excuses, more respect, and a clear message: if you don't comply, you pay.
No old files or inventions.
The Transit and Land Transport Authority (ATTT) activated a new way to file complaints directly from the cell phone, without going to offices or losing hours.
50% of what is collected goes to the National Secretariat for Disability (Senadis), and from there, 30% is transferred to the Institute for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled (Inmfi) for the manufacture of prostheses and orthoses.
